Crypto Assets as an Investment Class

Crypto assets as an investment class continue their march towards mainstream. In another sign that crypto is becoming even more acceptable, the Stock Exchange of Thailand is seeking to set up a digital exchange to facilitate the trading of crypto currencies and other assets.

And…in other news, even though Bitcoin prices are down, there is no loss of interest in cryptocurrencies, generally. In an interesting development, academics at seven major U.S. universities are developing and planning to launch a new crypto coin that they say will be better than Bitcoin. The new coin offers scalability and transaction processing speed beyond that which is capable of Bitcoin or indeed traditional financing entities such as VISA.
